| Abstract | The economic growth in Taiwan over the past two decades has increased the demand for advancement in medical care insurance, social welfare policies, and rigorous planning in healthcare. This new challenge has brought the attention of several interested private enterprises viewing this as a prime investment. The investments from these private enterprises vastly increased the numbers of new hospitals established and the quality of medical care elevated. |
