| Abstract | Sea-Land Service Inc has been spreading out not only in Hong Kong but in China as well. In Hong Kong, it will emerge as a major player in container terminal operations when the terms of the agreement for the operation and ownership of Container Terminal 9 come into being. Asia Container Terminals (ACT), the Sea-Land led consortium, will get ownership of Modern Terminals Limited (MTL)'s two berths on Terminal 8 West. Sea-Land Orient Terminals (SLOT) will have management. |
