| Abstract | Under the principle 'one country, two systems' the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will maintain its common law system. The resilience of the common law, its culture, tradition, ethos, along with the commitment of judges and the legal profession, the nature of legal education, and the strong links to the common law world constitute significant ramparts of the system. This article looks at the prospect of common law system in Hong Kong. |
