| Abstract | Hyatt, the Chicago-based group, is preparing for a big push into China's major cities, with plans for an additional eight hotels in the country by 2000. The company has five-star hotels in Xian and Tianjin. It has a management contract with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation for Grand hyatt Shanghai, which will open on 8 August 1998 in the city's Pudong area. |
