| Abstract | Taking Hong Kong as the context, this paper offers a contextual reflection on the interpretations of hope in the perspective of the theology of Paul Tillich (1886-1965), a famous twentieth century Christian theologian. What the context calls for is an interpretation of hope which can inspire people's imagination and action for a just society, a more democratic political system and a better environment. |
