| Abstract | In late 1996, a survey is conducted to a range of multinationals with a presence in Hong Kong. The survey was designed to gauge business confidence in the territory before and after the 1 July handover. The survey indicates that foreign multinationals have confidence in the local economy. With little exception, they agree that the territory will remain a good place from which to manage regional operations. The results of the survey are illustrated by graphs. |
