| Abstract | The China Summit 1996 which was held in mid-November 1996 in China World Hotel in Beijing brought together some of world's leading scholars, politicians, academics, senior Chinese ministers, bureaucrats and chief executive officers of mainland and transnational enterprises to discuss issues related to China's development plans. The delegates' views on the future of Hong Kong and questions of international trade are reported in this article. |
