| Abstract | Mr Alan Kiepper, former President of New York City Transit, complimented the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway as one of the finest major rail transit systems of the world but warned Legislative Councillors that the enactment of the amendment bills proposed by the Hon Sin Chung Kai would result in the deteroriation of the system because of the lack of resources for long-term maintenance and capital reinvestment. |
