| Abstract | At a national conference on information construction, Posts and Telecommunications (PT) Minister Wu Jichuan, said that by the year 2000, PT communications would be developed to such an extents as to be able to basically meet the need of economic and social development and a complete, unified and advanced telecom network will be set up. To develop information services, more investment will be injected in the research of information application technology and cooperation with other information departments will be strengthened in enriching various public databases. |
