| Abstract | Japnan Entertainment Television (Jet TV), established in October 1996 in Singapore by Sumitomo Corporation and Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS), has recently initiated a new service distributing commercial television programmes from top private Japanese Television Stations to Asian cable television operators and hotel groups. The areas other than Singapore that will be served by Jet TV are Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, New Zealand and Australia. |
