| Abstract | When compiling the original guide to professional ethics, the authors could not have imagined the pace of change which has resulted in the need for the profession to review its ethical guidelines. Many members of the profession feel that ethics incorporates an attitude of mind - part of being a professional person is that you have an underlying ethical code. The increasing complexity of the business world, coupled with conflicting pressures on practitioners, means that reality is no longer so simple. |
