Abstract | Two Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) research projects, reported in this article, indicate that although 75% of HKIEd students are female, it is these female students who are being marginalised within the classrooms. Analyses of the research results obtained in 1994 and replicated in 1995 indicate that gender-biased attention prevails when the lecturer is male, and such bias prevails even more when the lecturer is female. |
