| Abstract | A marine police officer alerted the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) to the plight of the cats at Tai A Chau, a refugee camp evacuated and razed by government. The camp had developed a large cat population. No provision was made for the remote island's animals after the evacuation. How the Society solves the problems is reported in this article. |
