| Abstract | According to a report issued by the Standard Chartered Bank, the recent agreement between Taiwan and China to have direct shipping links between Fujian province and Kaohsiung will onlly have a mild effect on Hong Kong's trade. It will have a greater impact on HOng Kong trade over the long term if direct cross-Strait shipping is allowed. |
