| Abstract | Doujinshi is a Japanese word which means a pubication produced by a group of people with the same interests. The publication is usually a comic or a novel. A doujinshi is non-commercial, and its cost is shared among the producers. Since 1984, doujinshi have become an alternative to commercial comics in the Hong Kong, and their readership is increasing. The problems of the production and development of doujinshi are reported in this article. |
