| Abstract | The members of the Hong Kong Shipowners Association participated in a seminar initiated by MacGREGOR-Conver, one of the leading supplier of cargo securing systems. Mr Holger Elies - Deputy General Manager of MacGREGOR-Conver was invited to inform the participants about the forthcoming rules of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) of the United States regarding the "Prohibiting of work on Top of Containers" and their impact on cargo securing systems and also about updated IMO requirements for cargo securing manuals. |
