| Abstract | On 9 December 1996, the Securities and Futures Commission ("SFC") announced that it had signed a Declaration of Cooperation on Investment Management with the Luxembourg Monetary Institute ("LMI"). The purpose of the Declaration is to enhance the protection of investors and strengthen the cooperation between the SFC and the LMI. The Declartion provides for regular exchange of information between the SFC and the LMI on investment fund managers, investment advisers, and other persons involved in the fund management industry. |
