| Abstract | In June 1994, the author put a motion to the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) to send a letter to the University Grant Committee to ask them to include in their interim report the setting up of Centres of Cultural / Arts Excellence in the tertiary institutes. The author believes that this can help to combine arts development with high technology. Compared with Taiwan and Japan, Hong Kong is lagging behind in this aspect. |
