Abstract | Aimed at solving the big carrier's accommodation problems for foreign-based crew and visiting staffers, Cathay Pacific Airways has built a 335-room hotel at the Chek Lap Kok Airport, due open in autumn '98. The hotel will be an integral part of Cathay Pacific's US$450 million corporate headquarters, although architectural design makes it possible in future to carve the hotel away from adjacent office blocks to run as a stand-alone independent hotel. This article features the facilities and design of the hotel. |
