Abstract | In China, public relation (PR) and below-the-line work better than advertising, according to Dr Kathy Bloomgarden, president of public relations specialists Ruder Finn Abbott, which set up shop in China to tackle the increasing demand for PR consultation. Ruder Finn Abbott executive vice-president Sally Abbott noted that there has been a real push from within the industry to bring PR standards "up to scratch" in China due to the newness of it all and the lack of education or training. |
