| Abstract | 1998 will be a key year of Hong Kong because it will see the opening of the new airport and railway and the completion of acres of upmarket office space and other developments related to the airport. It will be important to fill the gap in the economy left by the completion of the major infrastructure projects, and fill the space created. So the author suggests to forget about July 1 of 1997 and devote the year to studying pointers to the policies which will emerge in 1998, and act well ahead of time. |
