AbstractThe son of a factory worker, Andy Lau was a college dropout who began his own trading company ten years ago with a staff of one - himself. Now aged 35, he heads A Force Technology, which manufactures memory modules, with a turnover of US$300 million a year and a staff of 110. He attributes much of his success to the fact that early on he began trading with Japan. In this article, Lau tells the story.
