| Abstract | The Shanghai Guo-Mai Communication Limited was formed in November 1992 by reorganizing the former Shanghai General Corporation for the Development of Communications and has since swiftly grown to be the operator of the largest radio paging network in China serving about 50% of all the pager users in Shanghai. The company is also a pioneer in the field to have first introduced digital paging stations, pagers with information indication in Chinese, trunk radio transmission, and the 126, 127 and 128 series of paging stations with improved facilites. This article gives a brief introduction to the paging stations. |
