| Abstract | Designing work on the renovation and expansion of the national radio paging backbone network has been completed by the Designing Institute of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPT). As a national backbone network of the MPT, the project involves the construction of manual/automatic high-speed radio paging networks with both Chinese and numeric displays in 22 cities. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 1997. |
