| Abstract | The Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway went into full operation in 1992. In order to facilitate the modern management and operation of the expressway, an integrated communications network (ICN) project was started in September 1993, and was put into trial operation in November 1994. The management center of the ICN is located in Beijing, while the service centers are located respectively in Magouqiao and Yangcun and at Tianjin Airport. The network provides a variety of services, such as voice, data and Fax. This article describes the basic structure of the network. |
