| Abstract | The Mass Transit Railway Corporation held a ceremony on 8 June 1996 to mark the launching of Wheelchair Aid services and the conversion of station lifts as new measures to improve accessibility to Mass Transit Railway stations for disabled persons. Other improvements for people with visual or hearing impairments are underway, including Tactile Guide Paths, Escalator Audible Devices, Audio Induction Loops and Passenger Information Displays. |
