| Abstract | The packet switched data communications network in Wuxi (WXPAC) commenced operation in 1991 at the same time as the packet switched data communications network in Jiangsu (JSPAC), when a TP3325 concentrator manufactured by the United States Sprint was installed in Wuxi. The WXPAC has a complete range of service functions and the basic service functions provided by it are: switch virtual circuits (SVCs), permanent virtual circuits (PVCs). The WXPAC can also provide customers with arbitrarily selective services or new services. This article introduces the capacity expansion plan of the network. |
