| Abstract | Hong Kong's GSM (global system for mobile communications) digital cellular phone operator, SmarTone Communications has turned to ITS Hong Kong to design and supply an internal datacommunications network linking the company's retail shops and five main offices to a recently established data centre in Kwun Tong. Due for completion in mid-1996, the new network is intended to streamline all of the company's back office operations, better positioning the company to meet the growing demand for its advanced mobile service. |
