| Abstract | This article is an interview with Mr. Jiang Lisan, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Anhui PTA. During the Eighth Five-Year Plan period (1991-1995), Anhui Province enjoyed a sharpe growth in telecommunications, with communications capacity, network size, technological level and services greatly improved. They discuss that how the province will provide efficient and good-quality telecom services to meet the needs of the public for information communications during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period (1996-2000), a critical period for China to realize its second-step strategic objectives for developing the national economy. |
