| Abstract | The author holds similar views to those of G. T. Sewall, that textbooks play a central role in most lower secondary geography lessons in Hong Kong. In many instances, teachers follow the approach to a topic as presented by a textbook; the textbooks are often the only information resource and the supporting resource for photographys and diagrams. This is especially so for many lower form geography teachers who have no formal training in geography.This article provides a review on four lower secondary geography textbooks. |
