| Abstract | This paper describes the TeleNex SCMP Text Bank, a computer tool to aid English language teachers in Hong Kong in the selection of texts for classroom use and it describes the means by which teachers are able to select texts of differing types through access to a database of articles from the South China Morning Post newspaper (SCMP). After an initial description of the system, the paper outlines program operation, and how teachers can access and download articles. |
