| Abstract | To speed up the construction of an information highway network, Guangdong plans to build ATM (automated teller machine) application experimental network in nine cities of the province in 1997-1998,revealed by the Director of the Guangdong PTA. According to plans of Guandgong, a high-speed telecom network capable of providing various industries and households with large amount of information service will be built in the Pearl River Delta by the year 2010. Construction of the ATM application experimental network constitutes a basic component part for the fulfillment of the plans. |
