| Abstract | The Ericsson-Xintai Electronics Company, jointly funded by the Ericsson Company of Sweden and the Shanghai SIMTEK Company, was established in Shanghai. The joint venture will mainly produce and market micro-electronic elements for telecommunications. The joint venture has a registered capital of US$5 million. Ericsson has 51% of the ownership while SIMTEK has 49%. |
