| Abstract | Following the fixed telecom network to be built with overseas capital in Tianjin, UNICOM plans to further use US$14 million worth of foreign funds to construct a telecom demonstration zone in the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone. The demonstration zone will be located in the Taifeng Industrial Park and Xincheng area of the development zone which are in urgent need of telecom service as no basic telecom facilities exist there. |
