| Abstract | Reform of China's state enterprise system has entered a stage of universal implementation. One indication of this is the sharp increase in Special Operations Executive (SOEs) that have been declared bankrupt. The ability of SOEs to accept bankruptcy as an element of a market economy, and the smooth implementation of this policy, have become the key to future reform of the enterprise system. The purpose of promoting bankruptcy as a solution to problem SOEs is to improve the general economic condition. This will put an end to the passivity of SOEs suffering long-term and large deficits. This direction is undoubtedly correct. |
