| Abstract | Shanghai's Golden Card project registered remarkable progress in 1995. The Golden Card exchange center has established connection with the credit card information network of the five major card-issuing banks. Three years later, a credit card network will be established in Shanghai encompassing three million card holders, 900 automated teller machines and several thousand card-accepting department stores. |
