| Abstract | Responsible person of the Directorate-General of Telecommunications has made a statement on the quality problem of PDH transmission equipment supplied by Italtel for the Beijing-Taiyuan-Xi'an optic-fiber trunk. In violation of the contract, Italtel delayed delivery of equipment. Furthermore, cases of wrong delivery and omission in delivery are numerous. Moreover, serious quality problems exists in the equipment supplied by the company. The Chinese side reserves the right to claim indemnity for the faulty equipment supplied by Italtel for the trunk. |
