| Abstract | Subscribers to data communications service in Liaoning province saw dramatic increase in September 1996. The Shenyang Telecom Office alone had recruited more than 190 DDN and PSDN subscribers in the month. More than 70% of these subscribers are institutions involved in banking, foreign exchange, taxation, education, public security, government departments as well as large and medium-sized enterprises. |
