| Abstract | Sea routing of Shanghai section of FLAG (fiber-optic links around the globe) system was determined to start from Nanhui county. The 27,000-kilometer FLAG cable starts from England and ends at Japan via Italy, Spain, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Shanghai of China, and the Republic of Korea. It will connect with the Pacific undersea optic-fiber cable in Japan to form a global link. |
