Abstract | The Hong Kong Jockey Club is one of the first organizations in Hong Kong that has widely adopted Object Orientation (OO) technology. Their practical experience certainly is an inspiration to many organizations, whose information technology (IT) departments are monitoring how it all goes with other organization first. The Club's Information Technology Systems Engineering Controller, Mr Richard Brisbane-Cohen, who oversees the object technology for the Club, told people the pitfalls and provided some advice on the direction to take in implementing OO. |
