| Abstract | The commercial building at 490-494 Lockhart Road in Hong Kong is intended to serve as a spatial reference point for passers-by at street level. The tower is crowned by a sculptured structure. A vertical element running through the building facade highlights its symmetry. During the day, the pink-tinted glass facade projects a subtle glow, creating a contrast between the new tenant and its neighbours. At night, the building is dressed in a neon skin which renders it an urban focal point. |
