| Abstract | The Pudong area of Shanghai has been the flagship of China's economic progress, and its expanding skyline of commercial towers has all but overshadowed other types of architectural development in the city. Shanghai Liu Li Modern Residential Park, however, is as much an example of China's transformation as the skyscrapers, and the Chinese Ministry of Construction has declared it a model project for the mainland's affordable housing programme. |
