AbstractBates and the Hong Kong Tourist Association (HKTA) have won an Asia management award for their "Wonders Never Cease" campaign. The promotion aimed to address concerns about Hong Kong's return to China in 1997 and to establish a marketing framework to last into the 21st century. Since the campaign was launched in April 1995, visitor arrivals to the territory "increased significantly from July to December" of the same year, breaking the 10 million mark for the first time, claims the HKTA.
