| Abstract | This article is an interview with Tsang Hin Chi, president of Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Goldlion Holdings Limited. Tsang claims that Hong Kong is China's second largest trade partner because the special natural resources, historical development background and civil culture decide the nature of mutual aid and cooperation between economies of Hong Kong and mainland China. Hong Kong cannot keep the economic growth without the resources and market of mainland China. Mainland China also needs Hong Kong as the base and bridge for widely opening to the world. Therefore, the trade cooperation between Hong Kong and mainland China is the internal requirement of economic development in both sides. |
