| Abstract | Top bracket properties in Beijing in China are running lower-than-projected average occupancies, reflecting the depth of present difficulties. A survey by Asian Hotelier in the capital on four joint-venture hotels (Grand, Kempinski, Palace and Sheraton) shows properties have made 1996 year-to-date revenue above 1995. Most are still running behind their 1996 budget. |
