| Abstract | American universities are still very popular among Hong Kong students, but their intake of local students is dropping, as the government funds more tertiary places. They also have to compete with "on-line" distance-learning education. However, as the most popular destination of foreign students, the United States (US) will be holding its annual US Universities Fair in Hong Kong on 26 October 1996 to give serious students and their parents or sponsors a chance to learn about opportunities for higher education in the US. |
