| Abstract | The population of the homeless in Hong Kong is a very small number as against the backdrop of 6 million people. However, a homeless-concerning association forecasts a rise in the number of street-sleepers with new immigrants from China compounding the problem. Meanwhile, another concerning organization warns that the enforcement of the Bedspace Apartments Ordinance - which requires hostels with 12 or more guests to obtain various licences - could see many more immigrants and others forced onto the streets. |
