Abstract | In this article, the author comments that, what has been happening in Hong Kong over the past several decades, and which will continue, has been a process of remarkable change - an evolution not directly related to the change of sovereignty in 1997, but rather to the extraordinary growth of a political economy that shows little sign of slowing. And a striking example of this change, according to the author, is the rapid development of a Hong Kong tertiary education system that is now internationally focused. |
