| Abstract | Obtaining financial information is a serious business in Hong Kong. Most analysts, fund managers and freelance financial whizz-kids access information via business wire services. But there is another company in Asia, the First Call Corp, making its mark by offering real-time earnings estimates and brokers' research to the financial community. Its system differs from the business wires because it deals in pure investment research as opposed to the other wires' wider remit of stories on general business topics like foreign exchange and trade. |
