| Abstract | The Airport Authority (AA), following full consultation with the Hong Kong Government, AA Board and airlines, recently decided to incorporate a system upgrade into the standing contract for the baggage handling system. This decision takes into account the rapid technical advances in baggage screening systems now under development at major international airports and increasingly stringent requirements of the relevant regulatory authorities. |
